Thanks for purchasing the Course!

PLEASE BOOKMARK THIS PAGE so you can get back here again.

You may have heard a little "blip" and got an alert bar up above on this page depending on your browsers security setting, it's just a warning that there are scripts trying to run..this site uses Flash and Java scripts for flash video players and flash components..not for tracking or anything sneeky, so just right click the bar above and click "allow blocked content" and then click Yes on the Security Warning Box. NOTE: You'll need JAVA enabled and Flash player installed on your computer. Almost all computers online now have Flash installed. If you don't have it you can get it HERE

If you got the blip and have allowed the blocked content and you don't see the drawing of the little old watchmaker above who just finished repairing a pocket watch with a hammer, then you'll need to install the most recent flash player and - if you don't see the "Click to Bookmark This Page!!" above in blue (or any color other than black) then you'll need to enable Java.

I've just launched this section of the online book which at this point parallels the course book. This will allow you to start learning NOW while waiting for your physical course to arrive. We will cover lots of technical theory here that you'll need to know when working on mechanical watches. I'm adding new stuff almost daily and it still has a long way to go.

A little something about watching the videos. When using the Video Players just click a picture (thumbnail) in the thumbnail list on the right and then CLICK the play button...arrow. You may have to wait a bit for the video to load. I still need to put a pre-loader (something that tells you the video is loading) in the player so for now it just sits there with a blank screen staring you in the face but...it is loading.

This is a work in progress and is an attempt to try to make learning watch repair as much fun as possible whether you're learning as a hobby or plan to turn it into a business. There's already a bunch of people up here romping around and I've received some great suggestions from many of you. If you have any good ideas or suggestions that might help others PLEASE email me. I appreciate all suggestions. Some of you have suggested that I set up a forum so you can interact with each other while learning. Great idea!. I'm on it right now and hope to launch something pretty soon.

Well, those of you who know me know that I'll ramble on and on and on....so....you should already have your user name and password now so CLICK one of the buttons above, jump right in and have FUN.

If you have any problems at all just email me at bob@tascione .com ....Bob
