I was wondering what is the best way to remove corrosion from watch hands? Also what is the best way to return the "blue" them following corrosion removal?

If its rust bergeon has a rust remover for watches, check out esslinger.com for it. As for returning the blue, bob knows of a video on youtube by watchmaker roger smith that involves heating a piece of brass to get the blue back.

Hi Steve and Chaplin,

Yes Roger Smiths video is great. The link is below.

There are a few products out there that work well that can be purchased from watch material houses. "Evap-O-Rust" (I use often), "TechCorro (haven't tried it yet but hearing some good stuff about this one) etc. Also Naval Jelly works very well and can be purchased from hardware stores. Something that works pretty well is regular Coca-Cola. Don't want to leave steel hands or parts in too long though. You can find out more about Coke by putting "Coca-Cola as a rust remover" in Google search.

Here's the link to the video.
